MANNO HOUSE MUSEUM OF ALGHERO(SS)

Start the end of the degradation of the Manno, a place among the most abandoned of the old city and a symbol for more than thirty years of neglect and carelessness.
The shipyard has been awarded the contract delivered to the recovery area where it was born March 17, 1786 the illustrious Giuseppe Manno, Italian politician, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Sardinia and then the Kingdom of Italy.
The company is the performer of the works Coedil Sud of Naples , former contractor of the redevelopment of the complex near Santa Clara.
The site has transformed the rubble and rubbish in front of the Cathedral of Santa Maria in a building intended to house the museum Manno.
The program of the Municipal House for Manno was to ensure completion of museum space that will contain news, exhibits and materials concerning the life and works of political Alghero, compiled from the industrious work of the Foundation Historical Institute "Giuseppe Siotto ", which, being based in Cagliari, is willing to make donations to the City.
The area in which stood the house was purchased by the Government Manno Tedde through participation in a special auction in October 2004
The building was rebuilt following the original architectural style. Comprising a ground floor, a first layer a second layer and an attic. Each level has an area of 100 square meters.
On the ground floor and first floor spaces have been created in which were set up small exhibition rooms.
