RENOVATION OF THE PALAZZO DUCALE IN SASSARI

The Palace, the subject of restoration work by the company COEDIL SUD is an example of aristocratic and mercantile buildings, primarily concentrated in the southern part of the city. The old palace residence of the Duke dell, a powerful feudal lord Sassari, has now become the new City Hall since 1879. It was built in the early decades of the eighteenth century, designed by an architect, Piedmont, following the demolition of several huts belonging to the Chapter Turritano. Built in the typical limestone of Sassari is one of the most interesting historic buildings in the city.
